The first official day of Spring is five days away and soon enough the 2000 tulips CHR plants around our apartment communities will be poking up to say hello. With the first signs of Spring means the first steps to Spring Cleaning.
The easiest way to tackle any task is to make a checklist. Right At Home created easy to follow (and not overwhelming) Spring Cleaning Checklists that we provided here for you.
-Much like we move ahead for Spring daylight savings, you should also move all your furniture away from the walls to propertly dust and clean.
-There are green options for almost any commercial cleaner. For an easy all purpose cleaner, mix 1/2 cup white vinegar, 1/2 cup water, and 12-24 drops of your favorite smelling essential oil.
-Spring Cleaning is the perfect excuse to test all your fire alarms and carbon monoxide detectors to make sure they are functioning properly. Call your non-emergency maintenance line if you find one of them needs attention. Do you keep a fire extinguisher in your kitchen? Check the expiration dates and maintenance directions.
There's nothing better than a sparkling clean apartment!
