2014 Pine Street Inn Food DriveWhat an amazing way to start Thanksgiving week.

We asked our employees and residents to step up and give big to our Pine Street Inn food drive and they answered with gusto! We were unable to tally all the cans and boxes but, rest assured there will be many folks that will benefit from your generosity. In fact, we were able to fill up the majority of a 14 foot rental truck with your donations!

Remembering Thomas M. Menino

We are saddened by the passing of a friend to CHR and to the city of Boston, Thomas Menino. The above photo was taken in 2012 as the former mayor visited The Beethoven Elementary School to see CHR’s completion of a streetscape beautification project. Boston Shines, a program Menino founded, is a project that CHR strongly believes in and one that we will continue to do in his honor.

He will be missed.

CHR Turns 45: A Few Words from Edward ZukerCHR turned 45 last month and we marked the occasion with a sunset dinner and cruise on The Spirit of Boston. We all had such a fabulous time and The Spirit of Boston is a beautiful boat. The views of sunset over the city of Boston were spectacular. Great food, music, dancing and good friends…the party kept going after the boat docked. When you are having fun, time goes by quickly.

Colors of FallAs the temperatures start to drop and the day light grows shorter you will start to notice the colorful fall displays appearing on the properties.  The fall season is like a changing of the guard. The lush summer landscapes slow down and start to conserve their energy for a long winter. The fall season and change in the landscapes can be one of the most inspiring and colorful times of the year as it is especially evident outside your CHR apartment window.
