Lisa Collentro

Since coming to Chestnut Hill Realty in 1992, Lisa Collentro has worked as an Assistant Property Manager, Operations Manager and Director of Human Resources, all of which have given her invaluable insights into the day-to-day functioning of the Company and a deep understanding of CHR's values.

Early in her tenure, Lisa formalized the HR department and its functions starting with the Employee Handbook and developing into the full-service department HR is today. She was integral to expanding the employee benefits programs and other policies that help support CHR's culture of caring for the individual. Over the course of her time with CHR, the company has grown from a staff of seventy-five to 225.

In her current capacity as Chief Administrative Officer, Lisa is a strategic partner in the development of the Company's plans and programs, though she maintains her focus on assessing the impact of a given policy on CHR's community members. She works closely with Ed and ELT to execute on their strategic vision for CHR in an efficient manner. She also works with the HR Department, overseeing the department's overall function and performance, translating CHR's strategic business plans into operational HR plans, providing technical advice and knowledge, and assessing the needs of personnel. Lisa serves on various committees at CHR including the Executive Committee, the Executive Leadership Team, and the Strategic Operations Committee. She is a member of the LEAD Steering Committee as well as a Mentor.

Lisa is an active member of her community and the industry. She is affiliated with both the Rental Housing Association and the National Apartment Association, through which she is an instructor for their Certified Apartment Manager Program. She has served on various boards for local youth sports and charitable organizations, and has volunteered as a coach and Scout leader. Lisa has a B.A. in Political Science from Boston College.
