Cape Cod St. Patrick's ParadeA little light for plans this weekend? Head down to Dennis, Massachusetts and get into the St. Patrick's spirit with their annual parade. In fact, make a day out of it!

Cape Cod St. Patrick's Day Parade Itinerary:

8:30AM Breakfast: Fuel up a bit closer to home at Newcomb's Farm Family Restaurant.  It's local favorite with tasty dishes like banana bread French toast and skillet breakfast. It's then an easy jump onto Rte 3 to head to the Cape.

11AM Parade: The two mile Cape Cod St. Patrick's Day Parade steps off at Rte 28 and School St and Dennis and proceeds to Forest Rd in Yarmouth. Camp out near the Bass River Bridge in Yarmouth to be close to the water and see the parade. Remember to take into account parking and road closings!

1 PM Lunch: Just a short drive away is the Optimist Cafe on Rte 6A in Yarmouth. The beautiful home was built in 1849 by Captain Frederick Howes and was converted into a Bed and Breakfast in 2006. Breakfast is served all day, but the lunch and high tea menus should not be overlooked.

Have a wonderful weekend!
