We've finally arrived! Earth Day is this Sunday and if you haven't figured out what you'd like to do yet, here are a few ways to show your support:
Saturday April 21st - Charles River Watershed Association Clean Up: Covering dozens of towns, you can still join the effort to clean up along the Charles River. CHR will be at the Ridge Hill Reservation in Needham, MA hosting a clean-up spot or choose from a few other locations that are open for drop ins. Check out their site for more info.
Saturday April 21st - Griggs Park Clean Up: Rain or shine at 10am, you can join other helping hands to clean up Griggs Park in Brookline, MA. CHR is providing all tools and equipment.
Sunday April 22nd - Garden in the Woods: Garden in the Woods in Framingham, MA will host Earth Day activities all day. Learn about their conservation efforts while enjoying a beautiful nature walk. Check out their site for more info.
Sunday April 22nd- Picnic for the Planet: Grab a blanket, a basket, and head down to the Frog Pond on Boston Common. Join others as they try to break The Guinness World Record for the largest global picnic. Tons of awareness activities and local vendors will also be there to make the day more fun. Friday April 20th - April 27th- Disney Nature's Chimpanzee: See this film during opening week and Disney will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Jane Goodall Institute to protect chimpanzees.
