The candy is not the only thing that's sweet about Hilliards. Back in 1919, husband and wife, Perley and Jessie Hilliard, took a job making candy in the Priscilla Sears factory in Hyde Park. The Hilliards were immediately hooked on confection creation and in 1924 opened a candy store with the help of a business partner in Quincy, MA. After passing on the craving for chocolate to their son, Alan, he open Hilliards Kitch-In-Vue Candy in 1950 in Easton, MA. Today, it's Perley and Jessie's granddaughter, Judy, and her husband, Charlie, that run the business. With stores in Canton MA, Hanover MA, and the original site of the Kitch-In-Vue in Easton MA, Hilliards continues the family legacy both in the real world and the virtual one.
