Looking for something different to do this weekend? Head into the North End of Boston, MA to join in the fun at St. Anthony's Feast.
What began as a small feast organized in 1919 by immigrants from Monetfalcione, Italy, became one of the largest Italian festivals in New England. In fact, National Geographic Magazine named the celebration the "Feast of All Feasts". The festival attracts people of every age to enjoy the parades, singers, live entertainment, contests, and most importantly the food. With over 100 carts to choose from, you can sample the best the neighborhood has to offer.
Italian Food Wine & Culture Magazine said St. Anthony's Feast is "a spectacle not to be missed" and if you've never had the chance to experience it for yourself, now is the time. The festival begins at 7:00 PM this Friday and will continue through the weekend. Visit their site for the schedule of events.
