Details

  • After picking up your nametag at the registration table outside the Tiffany Ballroom, help yourself to a continental breakfast of pastry, fruit, yogurt, coffee, and juice.
     
  • Opening remarks will prepare you for what to expect for the day.
     
  • The breakout sessions offer a choice between a financial-, wellness-, or nutrition-related topic. These sessions are 45 minutes in length.
     
  • A variety of snacks will be available between the breakout sessions. Water is also available, so please bring your reusable cups!
     
  • The buffet luncheon will include vegetarian and gluten-free options. If you have specific restrictions, please contact Human Resources.
  • After lunch, representatives from our benefit carriers will be available in our vendor area to provide you with plan details and answer any questions you may have. You can also visit our charity assembly room during this time. (More details on this below!)
     
  • We will then group together outside on the patio (weather permitting) for a CHR company photo!
     
  • Heading back in, we will regroup for our final breakout session of the day.
     
  • After the final session, head back to the ballroom to enter the raffle and claim your CHR towel.

401(k) Basics 
New to the 401(k)? Need a refresher? In this session, you will learn the importance of saving for retirement and how CHR's plan can help you achieve your goals.

Recipe Renovation
Favorite foods such as pasta, lasagna, burgers, fries, and baked goods are delicious - but also dense in calories. Attendees of this presentation will learn how to adapt their favorite recipes to make them healthier and nutritious with simple swaps, tricks, and hacks.

Beating Burnout
Burnout, a syndrome caused by excessive and prolonged stress, affects about two-thirds of full-time workers. With work-related stress on the rise, this presentation discusses how this medical condition is impacting employees health and provides tools to combat burnout in the workplace.

In this session, you will learn about the building blocks of investing, why inflation cannot be ignored, how risk and time horizons factor into your retirement planning, and how to adjust your strategy over time.

Eating right can be a challenge, especially for busy professionals. This presentation will teach you how to eat healthily throughout the entire day, no matter how hectic your schedule becomes! Tips on healthy meals and snacks will be included, as well as tricks to fit in during a busy day.

Fatigue - Is it Really Just Lack of Sleep?
Fatigue comes in many forms, both physical and emotional, and isn't always due to lack of sleep. This presentation demystifies fatigue and explains what happens to the body and mind when it sets in. It also explains lifestyle adjustments to help employees feel their best.

Saving for retirement can seem out of reach if your current financial footing is wobbly. This presentation gives you easy-to-follow strategies for improving your financial wellness by learning how to organize your savings to stay focused on your goals, where budgeting can be automated to help you stick to your plan and how to manage your credit and debt, to improve one and lower the other. With a strong financial foundation, you'll be on your way to the retirement you want!

Better Balance Better You
Work, family, friends, appointments, bills...there is so much in life that demands our attention! This presentation is geared towards helping you manage your time and achieve a greater balance for a less stressful, more productive, and more fulfilling life.

Understanding Stress
Does your family have the tools they need to address life's stressors? By being knowledgeable about self-care and mental health, you can help your family get on the path to wellness. During the training, participants will learn how to identify symptoms of stress in themselves and family members, manage stress as a family, respond when symptoms become "more than stress," and get help for themselves or a family member.

Charitable Giving

At CHR we know the importance of providing safe and comfortable homes, and we empathize with those who have lost theirs. That is why we have partnered with Circle of Hope, a nonprofit organization based in Needham, to help provide those experiencing homelessness with the necessities needed to preserve and enhance their overall health and dignity.

In support of those in our community who are facing homelessness, we will be offering two opportunities to give back.

Dignity Bag Assembly
During the event, stop by our assembly room to put together packages of toiletry kits. These kits are distributed to those in need upon arrival at shelters or clinics. All the items will be provided, and you will be packaging them up along with an encouraging note written by you.

Clothing Drive
We will be collecting new clothing on the day of the event. Please bring any of the listed items below, and they will be donated to Circle of Hope.

What time should I arrive?
Registration begins at 8:30A.M. Please plan on arriving between 8:30A.M. and 8:50A.M., as this will give you time to check in and get breakfast before the opening remarks begin promptly at 9:00A.M.

Where do I park?
Four Points has ample parking surrounding the hotel. Please follow the signs towards the Tiffany Ballroom. CHR conference registration is in the hallway outside of the Tiffany Ballroom.

What is the dress code for the day?
This is a day for you and your wellbeing, so you can dress down. Clothing should be neat, clean and presentable. Unacceptable clothing includes sweatshirts, flip flops and athletic wear.

What should I bring?
Paper and pens will be provided for any notes you’d like to take during the sessions. All the materials will be available electronically and can be found on this landing page, as well as on the CHR-Informational Teams page.

What is the purpose of the day?
CHR holds this conference every other year. This is a time for you to focus on your wellbeing and get a refresher on all the wonderful benefits CHR offers to you.
