Edvin Gudiel, Maintenance Technician at Hancock Estates, was selected by the Massachusetts Apartment Association (MAA) as the Apartment Maintenance Technician of the Year for 2022 at the Association’s recent President’s and Achievement Awards ceremony.
Edvin started at Chestnut Hill Realty in 2018 as a service technician at Hancock Village. He was quickly promoted to serve as technician at Hancock Estates, an 88-unit luxury property in Chestnut Hill. He recently achieved his Apartment Maintenance Technician certification and also plays a key role in his department’s budgeting, accounting and training.
“Edvin has far surpassed my expectations with his technical skills,” says Hancock Estates Property Manager Brad Goldstein. “He exemplifies one of our Core Values – Commitment to Excellence. His impact on our staff and residents is immeasurable.”
“What stands out the most to me is how Edvin interacts with our residents,” says Senior Service Manager Ivan Pena. “He is always pleasant, respectful, patient and calm.”
