Hancock Estates Earns National Recognition for Online Reputation

For the second consecutive year, Hancock Estates, an 88-unit apartment community in Chestnut Hill owned and managed by Chestnut Hill Realty, ranked among the nation’s top multifamily apartment communities in the J Turner Research Online Reputation Assessment (ORA) Power Rankings for 2025. Hancock Estates rose five places to #15 nationally, while also achieving the third highest ranking among multifamily properties in New England.

This achievement recognizes Hancock Estates’ exceptional rating in online reviews and places the community on J Turner Research’s Elite 1% list of conventional multifamily properties across the United States. Online reputation is a measurement of how well a property connects with its residents, creates a positive living experience, and maintains a high level of satisfaction. Star rating is but one aspect of the evaluation; sentiment within reviews plays an equally important role.

The ORA Power Ranking is based on monthly online reputation research of more than 150,000 properties across multiple review sites and Internet Listing Services (ILSs) such as apartments.com. In 2025, a total of 1,312 properties qualified for the Elite 1% list, positioning Hancock Estates among the highest performing communities in the country.

“This recognition reflects the positive experiences our residents share every day,” said Dave Risko, President of Property Management at Chestnut Hill Realty. “To be ranked among the nation’s top communities for a second consecutive year—and to move even higher in the rankings—speaks to the dedication of our team and our continued focus on delivering outstanding service.”

The ORA Power Rankings are an independent assessment of apartment properties and management companies. Apartment communities and management companies are not required to be J Turner Research clients to qualify for this ranking. Properties must have a minimum of 20 online reviews to be considered for the rankings.
